Job Summary
Prepares and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for assigned surgical procedures while maintaining the sterile field throughout each case. Assists the surgeon by anticipating needs and handing sterile instruments and supplies during procedures in a high-performing team. Requires minimum one year of OR Tech experience, including scrubbing minor and major procedures across generalized and specialty surgical areas. Current BLS (AHA) certificate required upon hire and maintained throughout the assignment. This 12-week travel assignment places you with Premiere Healthcare Staffing's award-winning hospital partners across the nation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties, (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics)
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro. Etc.)
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum one (1) year of OR Tech experience
