Job Summary
Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for assigned surgical procedures, maintaining the sterile field throughout each case. Assist the surgeon by anticipating needs and handing sterile instruments and supplies during minor and major procedures in generalized, ortho, neuro, ENT, and uro specialties. Requires current BLS (AHA) certificate and minimum one year of OR Tech experience. This 12-week assignment places you in a high-performing team at award-winning hospital partners across California, offering a tailored career pathway with dedicated support specialists.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a surgical setting
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (GYN, General and Plastics)
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro)
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum one (1) year of OR Tech experience
