Job Summary
Scrub in for robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic, and trauma cases under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Coordinate with surgeons and nursing staff to deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery while maintaining excellent verbal and written communication. Make necessary calls and manage independent, multitasking responsibilities across diverse service lines. Work a full-time day shift from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Hold Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA certifications, along with current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- 11:00 am – 7:00 pm shift availability
