Job Summary
Scrub for robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic, and trauma cases under the direction of a Registered Nurse and surgeon. Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery while making calls, multitasking, and working independently. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA certifications with current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Work 11:00 am to 7:00 pm full-time with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Full Time
