Job Summary
Scrub for service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma while acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery by collaborating with surgeons and the nursing team. Maintain current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and NBSTSA Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician. Work full-time shifts from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- 11:00 am – 7:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment
- Alternating Weekends, holidays and call coverage
