Job Summary
Direct surgical support under a Registered Nurse, scrubbing across robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, orthopedics, and trauma cases. Coordinate with surgeons and RNs to deliver patient care before, during, and after procedures while making necessary calls. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA certifications alongside current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Work the 11:00 am to 7:00 pm midshift with alternating weekend, holiday, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Availability for 11:00 am – 7:00 pm shift
- Full Time employment status
- Willingness to work alternating weekends, holidays and call coverage
