Job Summary
Conduct initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments for patients and families while collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Document planned nursing interventions and evaluate responses to achieve appropriate patient outcomes. Participate in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Maintain focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization. Commit to a 30-minute on-call response time including driving, parking, and reporting to the charge nurse within the specified window. Transition into intraoperative care through a customized residency program featuring preceptors, subject matter experts, and small peer groups.
Required Qualifications
- Current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
- Knowledge in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
- Must be able to commit to a 30 minute on-call response time which includes: driving to the facility, parking, walking in, changing into OR scrubs, and reporting to the charge nurse within 30 minutes
