OR Supply Coordinator- Outpatient Surgery

OR Supply Coordinator for Outpatient Surgery builds, implements, and maintains supply acquisition, storage, and inventory systems for the central inventory to support patient care. Works under the direction of the RN as part of the surgical team, assisting in case setup, coordinating daily with physicians and staff, managing perpetual and reorder systems (par levels, min/max), performing ABC and usage analysis, conducting year-end counts, and providing inventory expertise to Central Sterile Processing. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire; Associate's degree is preferred. Responsibilities include partnering with OR Director and procurement, optimizing inventory, processing requisitions, and supporting equipment and supplies within the OR, including operating and troubleshooting perioperative equipment. Includes travel between facilities and exposure to clinical environments; 11-12 hour shift; exempt/non-exempt status is non-exempt. Strong communication, procedural reading, and aseptic technique are essential.
