Confirm all video and surgical equipment is fully functional before procedures, arrange monitors per surgeon preferences, and verify proper connection of necessary instruments intra-operatively. Collect and inventory instruments post-operation, maintaining strict standards for decontamination, inspection, assembly, wrapping, and sterilization while ensuring no tools remain at shift end. Manage laparoscopic equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs, keeping surgeon preference cards current and accurate. Provide consistent service to OR staff, adapt to high-stress conditions, and work rotational shifts including weekends and holidays. Wear required PPE and perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds. Obtain CRCST certification within 120 days of hire.
