Job Summary
OR Registered Nurse for PRN 1x Week (Tuesday) providing general nursing care in a clinic setting, administering medications per standing orders, preparing equipment, assisting physicians during treatment and examination, maintaining patient records, conducting pre-op phone calls, and educating patients and families on procedures and medications. Requires ADN/BSN with a minimum of two years of clinic/hospital nursing experience (ICU/PACU preferred). On-site, part-time role based in Royal Palm Beach, FL with occasional travel within the community. Must demonstrate clinical expertise, patient safety, and effective communication with providers.
Required Qualifications
- ADN/BSN
- Minimum of two years professional nursing experience in a clinic or hospital environment, preferably pre-op/post-op and/or surgery center.
- ICU/PACU experience is a must.
- Knowledge of acute and chronic protocols and medication administration.
- Insertion of intravenous catheters.
- Ability to work collaboratively with health care team.
