Job Summary
Conduct operating room nursing duties as a PRN Registered Nurse at Asheville Surgery Center. Maintain current licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN program to obtain one within five years of hire, with exemptions possible for RNs with ten years or more of experience. Mission Hospital, a regional tertiary care center and Magnet-designated facility, serves as the only trauma center in Western North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- OR nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
- Masters Degree in Nursing
- current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
