Job Summary
This position requires a Radiology Technologist for the OR to perform essential functions such as obtaining patient history, ensuring proper positioning and techniques for radiographic examinations, and educating patients on procedures. Essential skills include excellent patient care and communication, and candidates must work well in a high-volume environment. Applicants must have a current State and ARRT license, CPR certification, and complete an Associates program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Responsibilities also include supporting quality assurance programs, operating equipment, and maintaining confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Current State and ARRT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Completion of Associates program in Radiologic Technology or Certification from a Credentialled Radiology School
- Must demonstrate excellent patient care skills
- Must demonstrate professional communication skills
- Demonstrate current competencies for job position
