Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care in the perioperative and operating room settings, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include determining nursing interventions, documenting outcomes, leading process-improvement activities to enhance clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and financial performance, and fulfilling call-stay commitments. Requires an Ohio RN license, BLS, and typically an Associate's Degree in Nursing with at least one year of OR experience in an acute care hospital; BSN consideration at later years of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
- At least one year of recent OR nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
- BSN preferred or BSN required at 5 years of employment
