OR NURSE (RN)

Directs nursing care in the outpatient surgery, OR, and recovery room, implements policies and procedures, and directs emergency medical and trauma care for patients across age groups. Performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed, assists physicians with examinations and procedures, maintains patient records and confidentiality per HIPAA, ensures supplies and equipment are functional, responds to trauma codes, and participates in scheduled call requirements. Demonstrates proficiency in patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations, and maintains infection-control and safety standards while supporting team-based care in a Lake City, IA outpatient setting.
