Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technician or Registered Nurse to join our surgical team, providing essential technical support in the operating room. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons, managing surgical instruments, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile conditions. Candidates should have strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain organized under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Certified First Assistant (CSFA or CSTFA) as per the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- [Idaho] Registered Nurse license or compact state with RNFA certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) - five (5) years of experience in the operating room with both scrubbing and/or circulating proficiency
- Previous experience in inventory management and surgical services coordination
- BS Nursing and CNOR certification
