Job Summary
Proficiently operates all OR, Hybrid and diagnostic radiology equipment, performs diagnostic radiography following established protocols, assists MD in complex invasive OR/Hybrid procedures, maintains radiation safety and equipment, ensures proper data capture in RIS/PACS, and provides supervision/education to students. Requires ARRT registration, CT licensure, CPR, and an AS degree in radiologic technology; willingness to rotate weekends/holidays and handle physical tasks as part of a hospital imaging team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate AMA approved radiology program
- Registered with American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
- CT state license
- CPR certification may be required
- Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure
- Associates or Applied Science Degree in related field
- Venipunctures certificate (where applicable)
- OSHA standards of practice
- May be required to rotate on weekend and/or holiday schedule
- May involve physical lifting and/or walking
