Job Summary
Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within standards of nursing care. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating individuals on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural values. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development. Work 8 or 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with a 40-minute call response time in a Magnet-recognized acute care hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing
- RN license

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Less than 2 years of experience
