Job Summary
OR Circulating RN in a full-time surgical setting focusing on perioperative care for plastic surgery procedures. Responsible for preoperative site preparation, patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, intraoperative support, documentation in EMR, patient advocacy, PACU handoff, and participation in quality improvement while adhering to HIPAA/OSHA and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS
- Minimum of two years of experience in perioperative nursing, preferably plastic/cosmetic surgery
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
