Job Summary
The OR Assistant Buyer is responsible for inventorying and replenishing perioperative supplies across all perioperative areas and performs charge reconciliation for surgical cases to ensure inventory control. Collaborates with the Perioperative Team on preference card maintenance and submittals, ensures the perioperative inventory is fully stocked, and works with the OR Buyer to ensure clinical and fiscal responsibility of the Perioperative inventory and department.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in Materials Management, Accounting, Medical, or similar roles
- Education & Training courses in Materials Management, merchandising, accounting, marketing; college degree preferred
- Medical Terminology or clinical experience, preferred
