Job Summary
Interpret optical prescriptions, provide fashion and practical advice for frame selection, and assist with lens recommendations. Manage patient care, assist on reception when required, and keep patient records up to date while working closely with Optometrists and experienced Dispensers. This casual role offers flexible hours, one to three days a week including Saturdays, across eight HCF Eyecare Centres in metropolitan Sydney. Applicants must be enrolled as second or third-year Optometry students with a passion for eye care and eyewear fashion.
Required Qualifications
- Optometry student
- Vision Science student
- Second or third year Optometry student
- Currently enrolled at university
- Studying Bachelor of Vision Sciences
- Available to work on Saturdays
- Available to work during university holidays
- Available to travel
- Available to work at various HCF Eyecare Centres around Sydney
