Job Summary
Optometrist needed at Vista Community Clinic to provide outpatient eye care services, including examinations, diagnosis and treatment of visual disorders (glaucoma, cataract, diabetes-related eye issues), prescription of spectacles, and participation in quality assurance and clinic procedures. Requires a Doctor of Optometry degree with California licensure and certifications for ocular disease and glaucoma, plus CPR certification; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Part-time position with Friday 8:00am–5:00pm hours in a multi-specialty outpatient clinic serving a large patient population; experience with practice management/NextGen EMR a plus. Required Qualifications
- Current California Optometric License
- State of California Certification for the treatment of ocular disease
- State of California Certification for the treatment of glaucoma
- A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree from an accredited optometry school
- Current CPR certification
