Job Summary
Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, performing patient examinations and handling eye emergencies. Recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings and collaborate with staff to deliver access to healthcare. Utilize advanced diagnostic technology including optical coherence tomography, visual fields, retinal cameras, auto-refractors, and electronic health records to manage patient care seamlessly. Work alongside OD Technicians or Clinical Specialists for contact lens care and fittings. This role offers competitive base pay ranging from $52.68 to $72.44 hourly, plus exam incentive bonuses, a 401(k) with company match, and medical, vision, and dental insurance. Located in Evergreen Park, IL, the position is for an employed optometrist within Visionworks' "Oneteam" structure, where administrative tasks like billing and credentialing are managed by the company.
