Job Summary
Conduct approximately 18 comprehensive eye exams daily, averaging three patients per hour. Diagnose and manage ocular disease, including diabetic eye evaluations, glaucoma, and keratoconus. Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans while educating patients on eye health and vision care. Fit contact lenses and coordinate treatments with a highly trained support staff utilizing advanced diagnostic technology. Maintain an active Florida Optometrist license and deliver personalized care in a collaborative environment focused on patient growth.
Required Qualifications
- Holds an active Florida Optometrist license
- Licensed Optometrist in the state of Florida
- Must be able to treat patients of all ages and visual needs
- Must stay informed on the latest advancements in optometry
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to build lasting patient relationships
- Must be able to see approximately 18 patients daily
- Must be able to perform about three patients per hour
- Must be able to perform comprehensive eye exams
- Must be able to diagnose and manage ocular disease
- Must be able to prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
