Optometrist

Conduct full vision evaluations, including VA checks, binocular vision assessment, IOP, pupil checks, and refractive exams, followed by prescribing appropriate correction and instructing patients on device usage. Document all diagnoses accurately in internal systems and prescribe vision devices based on patient conditions. Operate within a mobile clinic setting across Black Hawk, Dubuque, Jones, Marion, Polk, and Scott Counties, requiring flexibility for commutes. This part-time, contract role offers $80-$90/hr with no federal holidays, nights, or weekends (except select voluntary exceptions), plus mileage reimbursement. You will serve school-aged children in underserved communities as part of Vision To Learn's mission to provide free eye care and glasses.
