Job Summary
Conduct full vision evaluations including VA checks, binocular vision assessment, IOP, pupil assessment, and refraction for students in underserved communities. Prescribe appropriate vision devices, test patients on applicable equipment, and instruct them on proper use. Ensure patient diagnoses are properly documented in internal systems. This mobile optometry role serves school-aged children across Philadelphia, Delaware, and Chester counties. The position offers competitive pay at $85/hr with no federal holidays, nights, or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Optometry License
- Doctorate
- Optometry License
- Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test
- Must be flexible to commute throughout the greater Philadelphia area, including Philadelphia, Delaware, and Chester counties
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
