Job Summary
Conduct vision evaluations including checking visual acuity, assessing binocular vision and ocular health, performing full refractions, and prescribing appropriate correction. Prescribe vision devices, test patients on applicable equipment to determine suitability, and instruct patients on proper use. Confirm that patient diagnoses are properly documented in internal systems. Work as part of a mobile clinical team providing eye exams and glasses to students in underserved communities across the Klamath Falls area. Requires Oregon Optometry License, Doctorate, and flexibility to commute throughout the region as weather permits. Monday to Friday schedule with no nights or weekends; competitive pay includes mileage reimbursement.
