Job Summary
Conduct full vision evaluations, including refraction, ocular health assessment, and binocular vision checks, for students in underserved communities. Prescribe vision devices and instruct patients on proper use while ensuring all diagnoses are documented in internal systems. Operate as part of a mobile clinical team, traveling throughout DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, Henry, and Douglas Counties to deliver free eye exams and glasses. This part-time, W-2 role offers $95/hour with no federal holidays, nights, or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Georgia Optometry License
- Must be flexible to commute throughout DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, Henry, and Douglas Counties
- Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan)
- Must pass drug test
