Job Summary
Private practice optometry role focused on comprehensive eye care. Conduct routine eye exams and vision assessments; diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy; develop treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses; educate patients on eye health and preventative care; collaborate with support staff in a patient-centered environment. Compensation up to $180k based on experience with relocation assistance, malpractice coverage, CME allowance and dedicated CME days. Schedule Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM with no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree REQUIRED
- Active Florida Optometry License Or Ability To Obtain REQUIRED
- Strong Clinical Eye Care Skills REQUIRED
- Experience Diagnosing And Managing Ocular Disease REQUIRED
- Excellent Patient Communication Skills REQUIRED
- Ability To Work Independently And Within A Team REQUIRED
- Commitment To Quality Patient Care REQUIRED
