Job Summary
Practice full scope optometry as determined by your license and state laws, including prescribing, supplying, fitting, and adjusting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids. Manage ocular disease as appropriate and provide pre- and post-operative care. Work in a professional office with modern equipment and full support staff. Schedule may include after-hour projects as needed, with travel between practices as required. The role involves collaborating within a growing group of doctors focused on world-class eye care results for California communities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as an Optometrist with State Board
- Prior experience working as an Optometrist in a full scope primary care optometric office
- at least 2 years
- Must be physically able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be physically able to read a computer screen for long periods of time
- Must be physically able to reach
- Must be physically able to lift up to 20 lbs
- Hand dexterity
- eye and hand coordination
- Must be available for after hour projects
- Must be able to travel between practices
