Job Summary
Practice full scope optometry as determined by your license and state laws, including prescribing, supplying, fitting, and adjusting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids. Manage ocular disease and provide pre- and post-operative care. Work in a professional office with modern equipment and full support staff. Maintain hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination while sitting for long periods and reading computer screens. Schedule may include after-hour projects and travel between practices as needed. Required Qualifications
- Licensed as an Optometrist with State Board
- Prior experience working as an Optometrist in a full scope primary care optometric office
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must be physically able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be physically able to read a computer screen for long periods of time
- Must be physically able to reach
- Must be physically able to lift up to 20 lbs
- Hand dexterity
- Eye and hand coordination
- Must be available for after hour projects
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working as an Optometrist in a full scope primary care optometric office, ideally at least 2 years
