Job Summary
Perform eye examinations for visual defects using instruments such as the Ophthalmometer, Skiascope, Ophthalmoscope, and Retinoscope. Prescribe lenses, prisms, or visual exercises to improve vision without medicine, drugs, or surgery. Refer patients with ocular manifestations of disease to an Ophthalmologist. This role supports Veteran Evaluation Services at Posterity Group LLC's Rockville, MD headquarters, providing services to veterans. Candidates must hold a Maryland Optometry license and at least three years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Optometry
- A license to practice Optometry in the State of Maryland
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
