Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular diseases, and prescribe corrective lenses and treatments. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and contact lens use while maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with staff. Work part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays in a supportive private practice environment with $700 per diem plus productivity incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or in the process of obtaining a New York State Optometry license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
