Job Summary
Review Veterans' medical records through a secure web portal and perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT). Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of each exam. This non-treating, non-determination role focuses solely on assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process. You will work part-time, two days per week, in an independent contractor capacity. Join MRG Exams to support those who served by assisting with their healthcare assessments.
Required Qualifications
- A licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist
- Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT)
- Credentialed to meet the VA's requirements
- Skilled in analyzing medical records and exam findings to create accurate, timely reports
- Exceptional in both written and oral communication
- Detail-oriented and capable of submitting forms within required timelines
