Job Summary
Independent Contractor Optometrist needed to perform disability exams for Veterans. Provide assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of eye conditions, gather and synthesize medical and military records, conduct face‐to‐face examinations, and develop a medical opinion on whether a condition is related to military service. Role requires owning an office, with per diem opportunities available; requires OD degree and active/unrestricted license, plus minimum 2 years clinical experience. Compensation offered at $80–$85.50 per hour with a flexible schedule.
