Job Summary
Independent contractor Optometrist to perform disability examinations for veterans. You will apply your clinical expertise to assess, evaluate, and diagnose eye conditions in support of veterans' disability claims. Responsibilities include gathering and synthesizing clinical evidence through medical/military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations to develop a medical opinion on whether a condition is related to military service. Work within a provider network setting with per diem opportunities, own office required, and upfront training, allowing you to efficiently process exams and reports for VBA review.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)
- Active and unrestricted license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Medical License (Required)
