Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose vision defects using specialized tools. Explain medical terminology clearly to patients while maintaining detailed records. Manage daily operations at this established Gainesville, FL eye care center, with a schedule running Monday through Saturday including one to two Saturdays per month. New graduates with an O.D. degree and Florida licensure are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an O.D degree from an accredited School or University
- Licensed as an optometrist in Florida
- Work experience as an Optometrist
- In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision defects
- Hands-on experience with eye examination tools
- The ability to explain medical terms simply and calmly
- Attention to detail
- Degree in Optometry
