Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, and manage patient care at full-time clinics in Dover-Foxcroft, Millinocket, or Patten/Island Falls, Maine. Perform daily diagnostic services while maintaining Maine licensure eligibility. The role offers Monday through Friday hours from 8 am to 5 pm with weekends and evenings off. Candidates receive 100% employer-paid health insurance, malpractice coverage, 40 hours of PTO, and up to $50,000 in loan repayment assistance. New graduates are considered, though prior experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Maine Licensure: All optometrists must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Maine.
- Education: Graduate of an Approved School of Optometry.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience: Preferred, but new grads will also be considered.
