Job Summary
Optometrist to provide primary eye-care services including routine and medical optometry, eye exams, refraction, and management of diseases of the eye. Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative cataract care, fitting and prescribing contact lenses, vision testing, and prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications. Screen for diabetes and glaucoma and assess related systemic conditions affecting the eye. Flexible schedule with 40 hours per week and some weekends; Florida licensure and DEA certificate required. Relocation assistance provided. New grads and candidates with 1+ years of experience considered.
