Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive vision exams, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote preventative eye health through patient education. Collaborate with Optometrists and Ophthalmologists to provide diagnostics and surgical services across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie counties. Perform duties with discretion and independent judgment while maintaining high-volume patient care standards. Candidates must hold an O.D. license and clinical practice experience; residency-trained professionals and those fluent in Spanish are encouraged to apply. Travel between office locations is required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. license in the state of practice
- Clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
- Must be willing to travel between locations
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates who are residency-trained
- Can conduct exams in Spanish
