Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular diseases, and manage surgical co-management including LASIK and refractive surgery. Perform prescription dispensing, handle eye emergencies, and promote healthy vision through patient education while utilizing advanced diagnostic technology. Treat up to 22 patients daily within a team of 20 skilled professionals at EyeOptics Optometry Center in Elk Grove, serving the community since 1981.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D.
- Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
- 1-3 years of clinical practice experience
- current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong business aptitude
- self-discipline
- ability to deliver outstanding patient service
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
- experience with vision therapy
- experience with ocular diseases and treatments
