Job Summary
Perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses or medications using state-of-the-art technology. Explain eye health and prescription terminology to patients while facilitating outstanding service during all interactions. Contribute to the patient care team on an on-call basis one night per week and on weekends every 4-6 weeks. This role offers a guaranteed salary of $75–$85 per hour with paid time off and production bonuses. Located in Yorkville, IL, this position allows you to focus on primary and medical eye care without managing practice administration.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Current and Valid Optometrist License for the State of Illinois
- Completion of an Optometry Residency or at least Two Years experience
- Demonstrated applied understanding of the general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions
- Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality of patient information
- Must be available for an on-call basis one night per week and on weekends every 4-6 weeks
