Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to conduct eye exams using mobile equipment, diagnose and treat ocular diseases, and prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses. Educate patients, families, and staff on vision protocols while delivering excellent customer service through direct interactions. Operate as a 1099 independent contractor with a flexible schedule that excludes evenings and weekends, supported by trained vision techs, portable diagnostic tools, and full administrative handling of scheduling and billing.
