Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose vision defects using hands-on examination tools. Explain medical terms simply and calmly to patients while maintaining detailed records. Manage daily operations at this established, family-oriented eye care center in Jacksonville, FL, with Monday through Saturday hours including one Saturday off per month. New graduates with an O.D. degree from an accredited school and Florida licensure are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an O.D degree from an accredited School or University
- Licensed as an optometrist in Florida
- Work experience as an Optometrist
- In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision defects
- Hands-on experience with eye examination tools
- The ability to explain medical terms simply and calmly
- Attention to detail
- Degree in Optometry
