Job Summary
Assist optometrist by delivering the Total Patient Experience and medical support, operate testing equipment (manual/auto-lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT), follow scripts for testing and patient interaction, comply with HIPAA, perform general office duties, and contribute to a positive, patient-focused environment. Role involves scheduling flexibility including weekends, and may require travel to additional locations; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required.
