Job Summary
Optometric Technician role supporting optometrist with initial testing and patient prep using optical equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual fields, GDX or OCT). Requires delivering the Total Patient Experience, HIPAA compliance, excellent patient interactions, and flexible hours including weekends. Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills; prior ophthalmic/medical office experience preferred; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED required.
