Job Summary
Optometric Technician role at EyeCare Partners focused on delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. The technician assists the optometrist by performing initial testing with optical equipment to prepare patients for exams, operates manual and auto-lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual fields, GDX or OCT, and follows scripted testing procedures. Responsibilities include HIPAA compliance, efficient patient flow, maintaining equipment and a positive, team-oriented clinical environment, and performing general office duties as assigned. The position may require flexible scheduling, including weekends or extended hours to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
