Job Summary
Optometric Technician responsible for conducting initial testing with ophthalmic equipment (lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual fields, OCT/GDX), ensuring HIPAA-compliant patient care, and supporting the Total Patient Experience within EyeCare Partners’ clinical setting. Role involves equipment operation, following testing scripts, office duties as needed, and weekend or flexible scheduling to meet business needs; requires strong patient interaction, teamwork, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
