Job Summary
Operate manual and auto-lensometers, autorefractors, retinal cameras, and visual field equipment while following specific testing scripts for photos and visual activities. Clean examination tools including tonometer tips and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment by interacting courteously with all patients and staff. Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned, ensuring compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations. Prioritize patient and physician time by executing urgent care protocols and adapting to flexible schedules that may include weekends. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands
- Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Commitment to work hours that meet the needs of the business which may include weekends, schedule changes or an extended schedule
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all time
