Job Summary
Optometric Technician Team Lead at Stillwater Vision Clinic in Stillwater, OK. Lead and mentor the team to deliver an exceptional patient experience while assisting the Optometrist with patient care, pre-screening and diagnostic tests, documenting exams, processing charges, verifying benefits, and coordinating patient flow. Requires CPO/CPOA certification, 3+ years of optometric technician experience, high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, multitasking, organizational skills, and flexibility to adapt to schedule changes; EMR experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Optometric Technician
- CPO & CPOA required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to do basic math
- Team player with good interpersonal and listening skills
- Passion for self-improvement and continuing education
- Must be flexible to accommodate schedule change(s) on short notice to fulfill business needs
- Minimum 2 years previous experience as an Optometric Technician
- Previous experience with electronic medical records preferred, but not required
