Job Summary
Conduct pre-screenings and vision tests on patients prior to the optometrist's examination while maintaining a professional atmosphere in the doctor's office and pretest room. Explain preliminary examinations to patients, review prescriptions and patient information to identify special needs, and consult with the optician, Doctor, or Retail Management as necessary. Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings to eligible patients, ensure equipment is properly maintained, and complete necessary paperwork. This part-time role requires strong customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to learn optical knowledge quickly, with training provided.
